Publications "My colleagues and I can refer to these materials for a long time to come, especially now that Ukraine is starting to catch up with so many approaches that are already taken for granted in the Netherlands."

In order to make the generic insights and information on public administration reform more accessible to a broader public, the Nicolaas Witsen Foundation regularly publishes books, policy papers and articles.

Our quarterly magazine, 'Focus on Central and Eastern Europe', originally focused on the key issues facing businessmen wishing to invest in Central and East-European economies. A new version is to focus on public administration reform issues and will be distributed free of charge to interested donors, senior government officials and other beneficiaries. For an overview of the Dutch-language issues, please click here.
Our books have been used extensively both as a reform guide to governments, and as a teaching aid to post-graduate students. They are available in various languages (English, Russian and Dutch) and have been distributed widely in Western, Central and Eastern Europe.
